Ablaze Grill and Bar could be a barometer of social events occurring in and around the Entertainment Quarter, as even the untrained eye will know there¡¦s a big show in town if Ablaze has all three of its levels open to hungry patrons flocking in to dine before or after the big event. One of the classier restaurants in the area, in the warmer months the fold-back, wrap-around windows of the main dining room (second level) open to the balmy night air, lending the restaurant a natural, spacious feel. Open for lunch and dinner seven days, during the evenings the restaurant is ablaze with red candles casting a warm glow from every table.
Great for meat-lovers, the menu focuses on grills of every imaginable kind (ribs, rumps, T-bones and cutlets to name a few) with seven different sauces to choose from. There¡¦s lots of seafood and salad entrees, a few vegetarian options for mains and a separate children¡¦s menu. Try the traditional Portuguese-style, flame-grilled chicken fillet with peri-peri sauce on a bed of spicy kipfler potatoes. When it¡¦s busy and the third level is open, you can grab the best seat in the house: up high, right at the end of the row, where you overlook the action below and can see all the way across to the lights of the city.

This stylish alfresco restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants at The Entertainment Quarter having established a reputation among Sydneysiders for its quality chargrill steaks and seafood at reasonable prices.
FUNCTIONS
The main floor of the restaurant is popular choice for corporate functions, with views overlooking the show grounds, the SCG and the city skyline. Accommodating up to 150 people seated and 250 standing, the restaurant is an ideal space to hold a corporate dinner, cocktail party or product launch. Ablaze is available for lunchtime functions Monday to Friday.
PRIVATE DINING ROOM
The private dining room is located on the mezzanine level of the restaurant and has a private bar. Accommodating up to 30 people seated and 50 standing, the private dining room is an ideal space to hold an exclusive event or cocktail party.
THE DECK is situated on the ground floor and is suitable for a more casual atmosphere. A good area for after work drinks it is also suitable for families and relaxing with friends. The deck can accommodate up to 40 people seated and 60 standing.

EXECUTIVE CHEF Matthias Larcher - Matthias hails from an award winning career in some of the finest restaurants in Europe including Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Amongst his many accolades are the achievement of Michelin stars for various restaurants and awards of excellence. With his cultured experience Matthias has contributed much towards some of Sydney's most esteemed restaurants, hotels and event centres including but not limited to Sheraton on the Park, Ritz Carlton, Aqua Vista.
