The early bird certainly catches the worm at Danks Street Depot each Friday and Saturday night, when foodies flock to the Waterloo cafe to share a table, some food and a yarn or two. Encouraging the well-loved, and sadly endangered, ritual of communal eating, the cafe is inviting one and all to pull up a seat at the table and have a yak with friends old and new. Danks Street Depot is doing its part to ease the world’s current financial woes by striving to make quality food accessible at reasonable prices. Ruffle up your feathers with a glass of wine and three delicious courses at the Early Dinner Club where each dish is presented to the table and shared with your fellow foodies. Embracing the early dinner concept since spring 2008, the cafe’s previous events have been incredibly successful and little birdies everywhere have been spreading the word.
